The warm weather has finally arrived and New Heights Roofing is excited to be working in it! Recently, our team completed a partial roof replacement in the beautiful Post Falls Highlands, focusing on an aging patio cover that had started to show signs of water intrusion.

This project involved removing the old, deteriorated roofing materials from the patio cover and replacing them with Malarkey’s OmniSeal system, a trusted solution for low-slope roofing applications. Unlike traditional shingle systems, which aren’t always ideal for flat or gently sloped surfaces, OmniSeal is specifically designed to provide a watertight seal in areas prone to pooling water and slow drainage. It’s a self-adhering roofing membrane system that delivers superior performance, especially in climates like ours where heavy rain, snow, and freeze-thaw cycles are a concern.

Along with installing the new roofing membrane, we also replaced all the drip edge flashing around the perimeter of the patio cover. This important finishing detail helps channel water away from the roof’s edge, preventing leaks and water damage along the fascia and soffits.

The entire project was completed in less than a day, thanks to our efficient crew and the relatively small scope of the job. And as a bonus, our team enjoyed a breathtaking view of the city from the Highlands while ensuring that this home’s patio is now fully protected from future leaks.

Whether it’s a full roof replacement or a targeted repair like this one, New Heights Roofing is ready to help keep your home dry, secure, and looking great. Give us a call today at 208-770-9167 for you free assessment!
