Winter has arrived in the Inland Empire, bringing rain, snow, and unpredictable weather. At New Heights Roofing, we’re committed to keeping your home protected, no matter the season. Even with weather delays, we look for every opportunity to repair or replace your roof promptly, ensuring your home stays safe and sealed.
Our team recently completed a roofing project in Medical Lake, Washington, just before the first snowfall of the season! Here’s how we tackled this roof replacement to ensure durability and protection against winter’s harsh elements:
We began by removing the original shingles, outdated underlayment, and old flashings to prepare for a fresh start.
Next, we installed a High Temp ice & water shield to guard against moisture and Malarkey synthetic underlayment, which is both durable and permeable, providing optimal protection.
To finish the project, we applied Malarkey Vista Shingles in Black Oak, a premium roofing material known for its long-lasting performance. Additionally, we installed all new Lifetime Ultimate Pipe Flashings and 10 Lomanco 750 Cam Vents to ensure proper ventilation and protection.
