This house had some issues with moderate granule loss and blown off shingles and was nearing the end of its life. Some birds had also decided to peck away at the ridge cap, creating little holes that could allow water to seep in. The new shingles installed on the house were Landmark in Weather Wood color.

This is a picture of the bird damage that had been done to this home’s ridge cap. We sealed up the holes while we were out surveying the roof before the project. This ensured no water would get it before we got the roof replaced.

Also on this end of the roof, the Fascia board was separating. Nails were starting to back out of the shingles throughout the whole roof, but here you can see what it is doing to the structure.

There was also granule loss on the shingles. This is another sign your roof may be ready to be replaced.

Here is a before and after of one side of the home. This was a pretty straight forward job, but the difference it made was incredible. And now they don’t have to worry about their roof leaking!
